The goal for this year for Horea is to learn English so that he can have a conversation.

My goal for Horea for this year is to support him in this journey in a Montessori way. I have been told so many times that children in the second plane of development, ages 6-12 years old, cannot learn a second language from scratch in a Montessori way. And I sooooo do not agree with this.
.
So, we will be doing presentations in English for all areas: Math, Language, Art, Music, Geography, Geometry, Biology, History. Today was about Logical Verb Game in English. It was amazing how funny and nice the work was.❤❤❤

It was an extraordinary concert "Christmas Spirit" 🎄⛄🎄🎤🎼🎶. For two hours our souls were dancing on Xmas carols and songs from all over the world.

How does a perfect day look for you?

Well, first of all each day is different, there is no perfection, just enjoying every moment of that day ❤❤❤.
.
Yesterday, I would say I had a ”perfect” day :) Since we have moved to Târgu-Mureș, Romania, all three of us have started swimming classes. So, this Tuesday looked like this:
✅ swimming classes (Bogdi starts early in the morning from 6, I am following next once I am leaving Horea at school, and Horea has afternoon classes)
✅ I was also working on reading assignments for the Montessori Elementary Diploma Course (6-12 years old) held at Montessori Institute Prague. I just love doing this. Makes my heart sing and dance 😍.
✅ we have spent quality time together in the evening playing Ticket to Ride Europe, a board game that we really enjoy.

🟡 Well, you know in this way you have the opportunity to make new friends. Also, you have told me previously that the English presentations and work are very challenging and difficult.

I really loved ❤ this conversation. It was a longer one with more insights. I think that the emotional stability can be reestablished through offering new perspective to a certain situation.

Imagination and creativity, but also reasoning mind are just few of the 6-12 years old child's characteristics. If we, as adults we can offer them the tools to feed their characteristics, learning will be about joy, fun, discovery, and of course also about: I want some more.
