Sometimes travelling with kids (or maybe all the time???) can be very challenging due to their mood, our mood, universe mood, and many other moods. Raise your hand if most of the time we, as parents, are getting nervous only thinking what is waiting for us in getting ready for a new adventure, but also during the adventure (tantrums, screaming, too much excitement,  luggage, etc)? Pick-me, pick-me:  🙋‍♀️..but what I have noticed and understood is that all these big emotions and situations are happening anyways, so why not enJOYing a new place, a new mood, a new way of living?

Travelling With Kids? 6 Reasons Essential Oils Will Keep You Sane

So, when you are getting ready for a new adventure, try some of the below tips. For us are the best options to keep ourselves in a good mood for travelling.

🧘‍♀️ Keep your calm - Before starting our journey with one day in advance we are using lavender essential oil in our soles and we are diffusing it in our home. Lavender is known for its properties of calming and relaxation. Take it with you and use it on the going...
🧘‍♂️ Stay healthy - Make sure your kids stay healthy before taking the adventure. We are using a blend of essential oils: Clove, Rosemary, Eucalyptus, Cinnamon Bark (in the morning and evening as a soles massage just to make sure we keep our immune system balanced and not only).
🧘‍♀️ Refresh after the jet lag - For parents a jet lag and very grumpy kids or maybe with too much energy can be really exhausting, so: drink a glass of water and add one drop lemon essential oils, one drop peppermint essential oil. Also inhale peppermint from your hands.
🧘‍♂️ Keep your back away from pain - Make sure you have Wintergreen, Peppermint, Copaiba essential oils with you as carrying luggage and kids might provoke you some back pain. Rub the essential oils on your back as often as needed.
🧘‍♀️ Keep you free from motion-sickness - Lavender and Peppermint essential oils can be a real help in motion-sickness. Add 5 drops of carrier oil and 1 drop of lavender or peppermint and rub it after your years or inhale them from your hands or from the bottle.
🧘‍♂️ Deodorize just about everything - Whenever going to a hotel or in a bus or a plane and there is an interesting smell I am using a blend of Lemongrass, Citronella, Rosemary, Lavender, Myrtle, and Melaleuca Alternifolia essential oils. It had saved my life so many times from unbearable smells...plus I love the great feelings this oil  blend promotes.
